I purchased two of these routers. Out of the box, both suggested a firmware update. One worked fine, but the other router froze during the update and went into "rescue" mode (on/off light slowly blinking). After four hours of web searching and trying various reset combinations to no avail, I returned the unit.

I am pleased with the router. Easy setup for what I needed, especially usb devices. It has solid signal strength for all 16 wireless devices I have in my home. I would recommend this router for anyone that is looking for stable home networking.

Yes, this will work with any OS. You do not need a specific OS in order to use this router via wired or wireless. You can log in to the router's GUI through a web browser so there is nothing you need to install on your computer to use this router.2 years, 10 months ago
